I wanted a mini.... way out of my price range but they are good to drive, abd look good.
before my vm i had a ford (poo!), '96 festiva. I cant complain it was 9 years old when it died.
and.. the most reliable car i ever came across was a '89 Toyota Sahara.
This care drove the distance from earth to Pluto and back and was almost flawless, the new model, just recently purchased is no were near as mechanically awesome _________________ And I'll pay for Sanity but Sanity don't come Cheap - Daniel Johns, Silverchair.

Now those are nice, but I have yet to hear anything good or bad about them, and right now anything from BMW is out of my price range. Or at least the ones I could afford are going to have issues.
I don't know what you do exactly, but if you wanna drive a beemer for cheap, you should consider applying at the BMW headquarters out in Dublin. They have some AWESOME deals for employee leases (I've heard somewhere in the vicinity of $200/month for a lower-end 3-series, and that includes insurance). I think they mostly deal with the finance end at that building.
I have been trying to get on up there for quite some time now.

The best way in is to make friends with a current employee. I'd try to hook you up, but the people I know that work there are now at HQ in New Jersey. The only other guy I know there is a contractor, and therefore has no sway whatsoever.
So start looking for those "mfg" plates at bars, and start stalking employees. I know how you like to stalk, lol.

Last time I saw one of those (not available in US) I wondered why they even put a back seat in the darn thing. It was cute and all but only a small, very small child or someone with no legs could fit in the back.
That said, I'd rather have that than one of those Smart Cars.

Dang it! Im not a stalker, it was just a joke. Though I guess I could give it a try. After all, I would shank some folks to get a Z4 on the cheap. Or one of the new M3s.
But other than getting a job at BMW. I have everything all set up for the RSX. My insurance is ready to go on my word, and all I gotta do is go to the dealership and have them send a purchase order to Honda Federal Credit Union and Im all set. Might even be able to drive it home today.

Z4's drive nicely but I still prefer the look of the Z3.
I have always liked the look of the RSX though. That and the TL were really nice looking Acura's. Sadly it looks like the ruined the TL for 2009 and of course the killed the RSX.

What color is the car?
It is silver. I would have prefered the red one, but they sold that one before I made up my mind. Plus that one didnt have warranty left on it. I am very happy with my purchase, and Ill post a couple of pics as soon as I get my hands on the camera when its not dark out.
Though I will say I have always liked the BMW M Coupe, the one that looks like the roadster with a hard top and a hatch. I dunno why I like it. After all it does look a little funny, but I still really like it.

I know you're not a stalker, I was kidding.
Congrats on your RSX! That car is pretty sexy looking. I'm hoping the hubby will get one of those this fall when we sell his truck.

Well, the M coupe is a love it or hate it kind of car. Personally, I have to agree with you and I have always loved it. Looked for a used one before we bought our Miata but couldn't find one for the right price.
As for the Z3 being a hairdressers car....well, I drive my wife's Miata around and if I'm not worried about someone thinking I'm gay in that one, a Z3 is no problem.... especially if it is an M roadster.
The Z4 just looks weird to me. I had my hands on one with those silly paddle shifters which were also stupid in my opinion. I guess I just prefer a proper clutch.

They don't come in manuals? When did they cut that out...? _________________ "A government big enough to give you everything you want is strong enough to take everything you have." -Pres. Ford

I think they offer a DSG gearbox in the Z4s now. Those are pretty wicked. Its still a manual, but you dont get a clutch pedal, everything is shifted through the floppy paddles. So its not like one of those manumatics where the car will eventually shift its self. You can redline them quite easily, but it shifts much faster than you can. They are pretty sweet, but I wouldnt want to see the repair bill when one of those goes out.
So far Im loving the RSX. Im getting crappy mileage on it because Im playing around a lot, but Ill settle down and find its groove here in a week or two.
