I agree it's getting ridiculous... sure they busted your balls if you were buying a box of matches or nothing but eggs when I was a kid, but getting ID'ed for buying a fucking circular saw blade? Wasn't terribly amused.
Is it actually a law or just store policy? And can legal action make money from said store policy? You can tell i'm American.
Store policy I imagine. The government has more important things to do like bitching about gay marriage and teeter tottering marijuana legislation. At least they'd still laugh that sort of litigation out of court around here, as they should. Still a pisser though.
Perhaps we should also restrict sale of all gels and liquids from minors, airport-style. You never know when that 14 year old who downloaded a copy of the bbs-era terrorist handbook (in all it's 7-bit ASCII glory) will try to level a city block.
maggot_hex Dug through LoDT and found an old thread with usercodes and XBox Live names of MI users so that people would have this information readily available. This makes Maggot_Hex a true hero in every sense of the word. Be sure to let him know how much you appreciate his digging through LoTD to find that thread so that you could post into it and read the names of other MI users who have handles on gaming networks, because he deserves the praise and accolades.
