Is it drow as in show, or drow as in now?

Correctly pronounced, it rhymes with now. Course, you could always say dark elf; unless someone is totally addicted to Dragonlance they'll know your referring to drow.

Or Tolkien, where it's different. Or warhammer. Where it's a whole different ballgame again.

I have to go with what I know, and the only exposure to Tolkien I've had is the LOTR movies, and I've had no exposure to Warhammer. What I most familiar with is D&D, where drow are dark elves, and Scions, where dark elves are basically drow.

In LotR Legolas is a dark elf. Warhammer takes the Drow concept and pushes it a little further, removing the skin colour thing.

I recently read "House of Leaves".

It is a very intricate book but an amazing read.

"Lamb, The Gospel According To Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal" by Christopher Moore. If you guys haven't heard of him you should check him out. He writes a lot like Joe, but fictional, so it's more over the top.

Psst! Check out post #10 and #11 on the first page of this thread...

But yeah, Moore writes very funny and good books. I've read through everything he's published so far and I'm impatiently waiting for something new.
