I'm still trying to figure out why putting up a tar roof involves this much hammering. It's not like they're putting up shakes.

Is it hammering you're hearing or perhaps the sound of shovelfuls of stone being tossed onto the tar? I vaguely remember from watching an episode of Dirty Jobs that they put a layer of crushed stone over the layer of tar.

Either that or the sub-roof material is in such shitty shape that they had to pull stuff up and put down a new roof first.

Shovelfuls of stone don't double-tap the way a hammer does. I'm sure. The complex is almost as old as my mother, so I think they are pulling off the old roof, but they've been pounding enough to roof three complexes.

Maybe they're just assholes. This is day three directly above my apartment. They've already knocked down the grate on the vent in my bathroom three times.

Um...yay? Lots of cool bands release crappy "modern/pop" stuff lately. That's why the "?".

RSA: I got my first official, admitted HIV case at our clinicals this month. Kinda freaked me out a bit, but then I thought "how many of the people here probably have something and don't even know?" and that calmed me down a bit.

RSA: I fraking HATE ticketbastard! I had two awesome floor seats for AC/DC and their server crashed as I was paying for my two tickets and I lost them. Now they are sold out.
