I just read the first page of this thread, without looking at the datestamp. _________________ --

While it is too late now, there is this kick ass medicinal tea I drink when I can sleep, called Nighty Night Tea from a company called traditional medicinals. Both my grandma's swore by it when my insomnia came back, and man it works.

RSA: I want a day off work
Hmm, that tea sounds a lot like Sleepy Time Tea, except it has passion flower. I shall have to order some of that.
RSA: I'm taking next Tuesday off because a friend is flying into town (among other things).

I second Kea's recommendation of the Nighty Night Tea. It's one of several teas from that company that I've found really useful for various problems. I also like their Breathe Easy tea when I've got a cold, their Ginger Tea for upset stomach and their Throat Coat tea is nice for soothing a sore throat.
RSA: Co-hosting and planning a surprise 50th anniversary party is a lot of work.

RSA: Holy crap, there's 111 people on this site now.
This tea, does it leave a layer of powder in the bottom of the glass when you're done drinking it? I just hate that, but it seems like all commercial teas do that. Tazo to a lesser extent than most. _________________ "A government big enough to give you everything you want is strong enough to take everything you have." -Pres. Ford
I can't remember having any significant residue on the bottom of the mug with that tea.
Commercial black (and green even) tea bags tend to use what's called "fannings", which are really fine broken pieces of tea leaves. That's what ends up leaving that layer of powder since it's fine enough to escape from the mesh of the tea bag. I love using loose tea in a tea ball or tea infuser instead of tea bags. Loose tea tends to be higher quality with mostly whole leaves and maybe some broken ones, but no dust. The taste difference is really remarkable. Tea bags tend to make a bitter brew to my tastebuds. You can get loose tea in canisters at places like Whole Foods and there are even a few brands sold in regular supermarkets too.
RSA: All this talk of tea has made me want some, so I'm going to go brew up some nice white tea.

I really wanna go to this festival. Alice friggin Cooper is coming. To Kvinesdal, that shitty little Texas-wannabe-village. And it's only 20 minutes drive away from here. I really need to have a serious discussion with head of the financial department in this family.
