Mom has been recording the Olympics and watching them later and I know hands down if I got to pick a sport I would be in the synchronized diving. I'd have to search the whole world for another diver with a similar body type, but that's besides the point. For those of you who care: which sport would you do?
Here's the list:

I would have to go with fencing, since I did that for a few years in college. But if not that, then I woul dhave to go with one where I get to hurt athletes from other countries. I would of course have the same risk of getting hurt by them, its only fair.

I do not watch the Olympics, and refuse to until they add dinosaur light-saber jousting.

The only reason they even hold the Olympics is for boxing.

Must I pick only one??? I guess my obvious choice would be gymnastics (we're excluding winter Olympics events, yes?). I used to do shot put when I was in middle school, but I am way too small for it at this age.

My other picks: boxing, anything equestrian, shooting, taekwondo.

Who knew that tug-of-war was still an Olympic sport?!?

Also, I'd just like to say that Nastia Liukin and Alicia Sacramone got totally screwed in the event finals. I swear, who the fuck would place someone who fell on her face on the vault in 1st place!?!?!?

I seriously haven't watched *anything* of the Olympics. Nothing, nada, zilch. I've been working as many hours as humanly possible and by the time I get home, I just don't care. I can't even tell you how many medals anyone has.

I'm almost for sure taking gymnastics back up this school year. Either that of martial arts but there aren't any good MMA places around here. Equestrian is boring as all bug and for the life of me I can't keep track of the fencers. I have to wait until they put the scores on the screen.

...But if they put the scores on the screen, it would be revealed that the judges can't keep up with it either!

It's pretty easy to keep track of really. You get one point per hit. Game ends at 15 or when the clock runs out. Job's a good 'un.
