Hey all,
Jeremy built a new way to do comments (as outlined in the newsletter - MUCH less clicking-through to pages just to leave a comment).
We've discovered that, if we log in as admins, our cookie breaks the comments, so we're fixing that. What we need to know is if anyone else has experienced anything wonky with the new comment features.
Maybe I missed something but are you supposesed to be able to scroll down from the latest story to the old ones? Personally I find it really bothersome.

When you get on to the very original MI page there is the latest story and then instead of scrolling down to see the comments when you scoll down there are previous stories. (i.e. - 1 800 Stalker)

what the hell are you seeing? when i go to the main page, it shows the story, you scroll down, and it doesn't show the comments there, but that's just because it's never done it, i still have to work it out to have it display them in line, but there are no previous stories there. I took a screencast, but it was like 22mb so..useless. take a screenshot for me as I don't see it. _________________ http://www.jeremyhalvorsen.com

easily-amused is an OLD member you used to be able to set the number of stories you see on the index page, but i changed it to be only 1. But some of the DB values are still 5... I'll fix that.
Nevertheless, on the very front page of MI, we aren't showing comments (yet).
