Don't know if you follow this stuff..
phpBB 3 beta 1 was released over the weekend. It's simply awesome. I have it install on my website (daneeboy.com) if ya want sign up and I'll give you or anyone else admin rights so you can see how powerful it is.
Figures just when I spend the dough on a vBulletin license, this comes out.

Yep, it's pretty rad.
It's also not very compatable with my existing db structure. Not yet, anyway.
I stay pretty active with a group of guys over at NukeCops (a modder group that works on the codebase that this site sorta runs on [it once was PhpNuke, it's now "sorta PHPNuke, only Joe's rewritten about 80% of the code]). Once we get PHPBB 3 converted to the Nuke-compatable db structure, I'll fire it up and replace this install with that.
