This series is soo good - they haven't been messing around with a slow beginning like last time. I was worried that they would spend too long screwing around coping with Jack's 'death', but they just blew it off and put him straight into the action. Good call!
EDIT: President Logan is such a loser - why doesn't he just realise that he sucks and give a real president the job. Palmer for resurrection and dictatorship!

"You're going to tell me. It's just a question of how much you want it to hurt."
Great season so far. . . anyone else notice the "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" moment when Jack shot the gun out of the guy's hand? I had to chuckle a bit.
And Joe's right -- for government agencies, CTU and the White House don't seem to use background checks very effectively.
wasn't it a little strange how quickly everyone trusted in Jack though? I mean, a guy is dead for like two years, four hours into a day, right after finding out he's alive, and bam, you're taking orders from him. I mean, it would take me a little while to be like, 'hey, he's alive! I missed him,' or something like that.

The only people who trusted him were the people who worshipped him before, and probably spent the last few years thinking 'I wish Jack was here, he would handle this so well'.

Once my file server is done rebuilding this afternoon, I'm going to start downloading so many shows that started over the past month, it's not even funny.... _________________ Most problems can be solved through violence. Those that cannot are not worth solving.
WTF is with Logan's wife? Has she just gotten a boob job and wants to make sure everyone seems them as much as possible? Barely one scene with her goes by that I don't see old lady cleavage...

Yeah, Jean Smart's boobies aren't necessarily something I'm tuning in each week to see. I appreciate the idea and all, but I think Fox is about 30 years behind the curve when it comes to knowing when to release the hounds and when to keep the sweater puppies kenneled.
And people trust Jack because the man hopped right back into action and saved a shitload of people, right off the bat. Plus, they've all watched the past 4 seasons on DVD and know he's really a good guy.

I think that Sean Astin's character, Lynn McGill is either really badly written, or he's just really bad at acting like Lynn.
But, in either case, this season has some promise. I've always liked Jack. Completely professional, 100%. _________________ Most problems can be solved through violence. Those that cannot are not worth solving.
