Rachel,
I checked out your profile over at the face party site. You are a pretty woman on the inside. There is no room for lame or disparaging comments about yourself. Believe me, you can talk yourself into being unhappy over self percieved faults that others either don't see or don't consider important. Wow, working at the pharmacy at your age means you are trusted by adults who have to be right about their employees.
That is not lame, its impressive. If you meant your nick was lame, hey I know guys that go by poopscoop3 in the chats i loiter around. Yours sings in comparision to most teens. The hormonal gents above were correct in their judgement of your looks. You are pretty, and if thats a baby face, you will be changing again before its all done. Keep the faith Rachel, you are barely started on the great journey called your life. The best years are still long down that road, take your time and enjoy every day. I retired at forty years of age and follow my own advice, I just wish I had known at your age what I learned in my 27th year of life. I would have been unstoppable, no brag, just a big chunk of self confidence. It's all good! Sorry about the babblling, my son is in his first year of college and I havn't heard from him in awhile, I better go call him. Eh? _________________

Winterloin - That's possibly one of the sweetest things anyone's ever said to me. You made some very good points, and I thank you for that little bit of confidence in me that you seem to have. The reason I have that outlook on life (not to expect too much out of anyone, the inability to trust others the way they deserve, the inability to even trust myself when I should) is because I've been through more than any 18 year old girl should have to experience. I'm not saying that's a bad thing - I've learned more about life in the past 5 years than many people I know won't learn in the next 10. I've had my father gone to war for more than a year when I was a child, lost 4 of my best friends due to moving or death, lost close family members due to epilepsy (my dad's little brother, my sister's age) and a car wreck (cousins, ages 26 and 8 ). There's more... I just really don't want to get into it. But thank you very much.
Homncruse - Hah.. eh... uhmmm... I don't know if I want to get into that either. It may give the wrong impression of me. Haha... eh now I'm all shifty and uncomfortable.
Joe - hehehe... of course i mean you!

You'd be surprised.... my girlfriend went through a lot herself, and she's only 20 now (I'm 19) - the craziness has pretty much died down, but the aftereffects of such experiences still linger (5 suicides in a 3 month period, family feud, losing 3 best friends to either the military or suicide, and much more).

You are very welcome Rachael,
You only proved the validity of my first impression. That was one of the nicer responses I have received in a long time. God bless you and be happy. I signed up over at the face party site out of curiousity, maybe I will see you around. If you ever need something and think I might be of help, drop me a PM and I will get back with you, soon as I can. lol. _________________

i'm matt. i'm 16 years old. music is my thing. i play guitar/bass a little sax and a little piano. i live on a farm in southwest missouri, though i look more like a hippy than a farmboy (with the long hair and whatnot). i don't wear cowboys hats or boots, ballhuggin jeans, i don't drive a huge 4x4, or spit very much. i guess i'm more of a city kid hangin out on a farm that has to chase cows now and again...

YAY you're not a hick! Otherwise we'd have to kick you out. Welcome to the forums! _________________ Help me GoogleBomb for Joe's publicity!
Hi there, my name is Heath Eddy, and I am not 18, not single and not female. If anybody is still reading, I will continue.
Oh screw it, I'll continue anyway.
I'm from a little country town called Broken Hill, but now living in Sydney. Yep, thats Australia, and that would make me Australian. Go figure.
I work in marketing now, but only because I was doing a double degree at Uni and got bored, so I am both a College graduate and a drop out. Hey, I just thought of that now...wow. Anyway, I want to have a career in film, and I have written four feature length scripts that I say I will try to make but in reality will more than likely go to my grave with me. I have also entertained the idea of becoming a professional poker player, but I'm way to thrifty to seriously chase that dream.
I like using ... a lot.
Heavy into video games, movies, comedy and sports (mostly Australian Rules Football - Go Hawthorn!). My favourite comedian (apart from Joe naturally) is Dave Gorman, and if you hear about "Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure" coming to a city near you, do everything you can to see this guy's one man show. Amazing!

Hi Heath,
Welcome to the Show!
We are all glad that you arrived safely and trust me, more of us would have shown for your get acquainted party, but as you can tell, this place is in need of paint and new carpet. They are all working at the other end of the forum and send their warmest regards. lol.
There are probably a couple of guys back there that will be happy that you are not female. If you get my drift. So keep your wits about you and don't let anybody follow you home, OK?

I for one am at a loss as to the meaning of this statement, Aussie!
Pray tell its not some kind of brag on using chemicals to distort reality in the down under. Naw!, the two cultures, American and Austrailian can't be that different and out of touch, can they? Fill us in, if you would.
If you need feedback on your writing, this is the place to get good constructive reviews, you could do no better for the money involved, lol. _________________

I think he means that he likes to use "..." a lot as a form of pausing (even though it's not technically a pause, it's meant to be used when abridging quotes and leaving parts out, but I use it in the same way so I'm a hippocrit) _________________ Help me GoogleBomb for Joe's publicity!

Got it in one, sorry for leaving out the "...". _________________ This is my signature

well, i'm just saying... a lot of times when people hear that someone lives on a farm, they expect hardasscore rednecks that wrastle their cousins in the mud pit to try and win the grand prize pig or drive flatbed trucks with 2 bails of hay on it at all times (known from experience on other boards)... and since i'm not like that i figured it helped to better describe me by saying that i'm not like that

Hi Heath,
I posted a response yesterday and it didn't get posted by the server.
I just wanted to say that I am glad to hera that you won't be wasting your very best years "using" and I meant no disrespect. It came from a good place. Good luck with your screenwriting. Have faith and never give up on what you really want, you would be surprised.

homncruse,
Thank you for your Detective grade deducing skills contribution. I would never have figured that out on my own. Must be a generational or young writer thing. lol. _________________

Name's Eric. Im a Civil Engineer in Wichita, KS. I live and Kansas and I dont live on a farm. I've found that to be a major misconception, most everywhere Ive gone. There are actual cities in Kansas. Im an old soccer player from way back who's transferred that obsession to golf. Its a lot easier on the old body. I say old, but Im only 27, its just my knees are about 46. I like this place. I think I'll stay awhile.
