One tip left out of that list, that no one on here really doesn, but it still gets to me:
Learn the difference between words like they're/their/there, lie/lay, sit/set, rise/raise, etc, etc...

Maybe now that I pointed out he's a year late, but at the time, I'm pretty sure he forgot about new years.
Anyways, in a couple of days I'm gonna remove all nonsense posts from this thread. It's supposed to be about the rules of writing, and for once I say we hold a thread "clean".
