Hey, people, I'm canned_beef. How are you people doing today?
I enjoy reading, and wish to start writing, and get feedback on the works that I've currently started, which are iced due to the dreaded writer's block.
I'm not much of one to introduce myself, and I like to get people acquainted better with me over time. I hope to see you all around.
*gives canned_beef a cookie* Yay! Helloooooo! Welcome to MI, enjoy your stay! ^______^
More writers are always welcome around here (help to fill the gaps in between Joe-stories ). What type of feedback are you looking to get? Suggestions, praise/critiques, or just mechanical things (typos, errors, etc)?
I look forward to reading your things, though! And if you ever have a completed story (or a full part of one), there's always MIR to send it to. *points to the top of the screen, where it says "MI Reader-Submitted Story"* We can always use more stories for that. XD
It'll be fun getting acquainted with you! Do come join us in Chatty Chat from time to time - it gets so boring in there when no one talks.... But, it usually is dead quiet in there, so it might be a while before someone says something, so don't worry about that. We won't ignore you, I promise! XD

Hello all! I'm Lorx (yeah, like THAT's a real name XD)
I'm pretty new to the site but i lurk around a lot of forums (Including 4chan, i'll try to not be as crazy here as i am there). I love Joe's work so i registered, because i can and it's free.
BTW: Can we use off-site/uploaded avatars? Cause i CANNOT find an option for it, only gallery ones.
Edit: Found it. I was clicking on the wrong options menu. _________________ Siggy in works since this form hates photobucket~

Hello all. My name is Herb currently residing in the great state of Maine, though I did a a few years time in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in NY (Go Yankees). I recently finished up my Ph.D. (hooray) and am now a lowly post-doc (boooo) working my way up the academic ladder.

And yes, I drink a lot of coffee. _________________ It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning, it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. - The Caffiene Addict's Mantra

Hi, I'm Rachele. I've been busy reading through the older stories, so I always show up as online. I'm 35, have no children, too many cats, and have an insatiable love of reading. I'm currently in Louisville, but I also live in Seattle. I broke my hip at the ripe old age of 32, and am just now recovering from my long-awaited surgery. Nice to be here. Love the site.

Uh hi, my name is Oberburgermeister, and I am a Joe Peacock story addict. I have been an addict ever since I saw a link on Fark to Joe's blog post about work-out music. I am slowly but surely working my way through his stories, and I've so far managed to finish the first book, and about 10 other stories.
